If you recall, the contest tasked entrants with digging through a friend or relative’s closet to find some piece of fabulous clothing that the owner didn’t wear or want any more. Contestants wowed us with luxury handbags, hand-sewn gowns and dresses, and designer suits, but in the end we have to narrow it down to five finalists. This task was hard enough for us, so we are very grateful to the thousands of you who voted on a winner (thus saving us from having to choose only one).
Along with the fashion, we also asked you to tell us the stories behind the garments and there were some great ones. Reading them may have been the most gratifying part of this experience.
